Stock Maintenance - OverviewGeneral InformationThis maintenance function enables you to create and maintain all of the information about the stock item. The STOCK ITEM field in M.O.M. is twenty (20) characters in length. If more than ten characters are used, the printed stock number (invoices, reports, etc.) uses two lines with ten (10) characters per printed line. When using the Size/Color matrix option of this function, the 20 characters are divided into two 10 character fields. See Stock Maintenance - Using the Size/Color Matrix. The DESCRIPTION of the item entered in this function is the description that is displayed and printed throughout the M.O.M. system. The detailed information about the stock item is divided into tab screens. How to Use the ScreenSelect the tab screen(s) for the set of information that needs to be created or modified. Note: The Break-Out and Composite screen tabs cannot be selected unless the corresponding product attributes are checked on the General Information tab screen. When you complete the additions or changes to the Stock Item, press SAVE. To save the information as a new Stock Item, press SAVE AS and define the new Stock Item. To exit without saving, press CANCEL. |
