Field definitions for the Market Analysis Report
Source Key - The source
key and description being reported.
Number of Responses - The total number of responses.
Includes anyone who either placed an order or were entered as a
contact with this source.
Number of Customers - The number of responding customers who
have placed one or more orders with the source key as their
original source key.
Average Value - The average amount spent by each customer
with the original source key.
Mailing Counter - Total number of mailing pieces for all
ordering and non-ordering customers with the source
key.
Mailing Size/Circ. - From the field of the same name in the
Source Key setup screen that has been associated with the Catalog
Code.
Response Rate - Calculated as Number of Responses divided by
Mailing Size/Circ.
Orders Generated - The total number of orders for customers
with the source key as their original source key.
Reorder Factor - Calculated as Total Number of Orders minus
Total Number of Customers divided by Total Number of
Customers.
Gross Sales - The gross amount from orders by customers with
the source key as their original source key. This does not include
shipping or tax.
Gross Profit - This figure is derived from gross sales minus
the cost of goods sold.
Cost of Source - The cost for the source.
Source Profit - This figure is derived from gross profit
minus the cost of source.
