General Information

This screen enables you to develop a Club Membership plan to automatically create new orders for customers based on a "trigger" item. Using this function you can manage a book-of-the-month-club type program. Once created, the club membership plan can be saved and used again at any time. Any number of plans can be created and changed at your discretion.   The Club Membership Plan has the ability to run indefinitely or for a fixed number of shipments.

A "trigger" item is used to initialize the Club Membership Plan whenever it is ordered.   The item has to be set up as a Club Membership Plan Product in the Miscellaneous tab of the Stock Item.   When this item is entered on an order, it will display the Club Membership Plan Information screen to verify the next shipment date or any other information to be edited for this customer's plan.  A "trigger" item can be any item in M.O.M., for instance, a service item, as part of a break out item or a composite item (the trigger item can be a composite item, but cannot be part of the composite item), etc.   A"trigger" item can be placed on an order with other items and there can be more than one trigger item on an order. Note: There must be a recipient on the order prior to entering a trigger item on the order.  If the recipient of the trigger item is changed, this will be tracked in the Club Membership history.

How to Use the Screen

1. Enter a CLUB MEMBERSHIP PLAN CODE and a DESCRIPTION.   Press the F2 key to display the list of Club Membership Plans.

2. Select PLAN SHIPMENTS CONTINUE UNTIL CANCELLED BY THE CUSTOMER or  PLAN HAS A FIXED NUMBER OF SHIPMENTS.

3. • Plan Shipments Continue Until Cancelled by The Customer - this selection will continue to make shipments to the customer until the club membership plan is cancelled.

   • Plan Has a Fixed Number of Shipments - this selection will ship a specified number of shipments to the recipient.   Designate the NUMBER OF SHIPMENTS IN THIS PLAN.

4. Select the SHIPMENT CYCLE - TIME BETWEEN SHIPMENTS FOR THIS PLAN IS.   This denotes the length of time between shipments.

5. Press the ADD button to add a product or the EDIT button to edit product details in the Club Membership Plan Product Detail screen.   Press the DELETE button to delete the product from the club membership plan.  

6. Optionally, select the ORDER OVER-RIDE OPTIONS.

Order Over-ride Options

These are optional settings for the club membership plan.   These settings will over-ride the settings from the last order of the customer's club membership plan.

USE THIS SHIPPING METHOD - specify a shipping method to be used.

CHARGE THIS SHIPPING AMOUNT - check this box to specify a specific shipping amount to charge the customer.

USE THIS ORDER PRIORITY - check this box to select the priority level

USE THIS SOURCE KEY - specify a source key to be used.

USE THIS CATALOG CODE - specify a catalog code to be used.

USE THIS SALES ID - specify a Sales ID to be used.

Misc Plan Status

PLAN CREATED - User ID that created the plan and the date that it was created.

LAST MODIFIED - User ID that modified the plan and the date that it was modified.

LAST PROCESSED - User ID that processed the plan and the date that it was processed.
