Entering a New Subscription or Renewing an Expired
Subscription
In Order Entry, subscription products
are treated just as regular products. When the customer calls to
order or renew a subscription, enter the subscription product in a
New Order for the customer. When a subscription product is entered
as a line item, the Subscription Information Record Screen
is automatically displayed showing information about the new or
renewed subscription.

Cancelling a Subscription
If you need to cancel a subscription,
use the Order Review function on the Main Menu Tool Bar and do a
return on the subscription. M.O.M. will give a full refund for the
entire subscription as if no issues were ever shipped. To charge
the customer for the issues that were received, you should create a
special stock item for the subscription that represents a single
issue and a price and enter the appropriate number of single issues
in the customer order . Use the Maintain Stock Item function to set up
the special "single issue" stock item.
Viewing Subscription Information for a Customer
To view all of the subscriptions for a
customer, use the Order Review function on the Main Menu Tool Bar
and press on the Order Review Tool Bar or
on the Purchase History Screen Tab of the
Customer Information Screen to display the Subscription Details
List. Select a Publication from the List to display the Publication
Subscription Information Record Screen which contains complete
information on that publication.
