Product Manufacturing Manager's Station
General Information
This screen lets you create batches of stages for processing by
the manufacturing operators setup in your company and monitor the
progress of the manufacturing stages.
If you have the Advanced Warehouse
Module installed along with the Product Manufacturing Module in your M.O.M.
system, you have available for use the Product Manufacturing
Manager's Station to manage and direct the Manufacturing Stages that require
processing and the user's designated as Manufacturing Operators. The
assigned stages will appear in the designated user's Product
Manufacturing Workstation.

How to Use the Screen
Manufacturing Resources
Displays the number of users who are designated as Manufacturing Operators, then
displays the number of users that are currently logged into the
Product Manufacturing
Workstation. Select the VIEW RESOURCES button to view a
list of the Picker's and or Packers and their duration of time in
the Product Manufacturing
Workstation.
Creating or Editing Batches
The screen uses the standard Microsoft "tree" type display with
folders. Folders with content can be opened and/or closed by
clicking on the + or - symbol to the left of the folder.

Use the screen to view a list of all of the Unassigned and Assigned orders and/or order segments
for processing.

Unassigned - those orders and/or order segments that have not
yet been given to any packer. The detail under the main folder
shows the count for each stage of order processing.

Assigned in Batch - those orders and/or order segments that have
been assigned to packers manually using the Batch Assignment
screen. The detail under the main folder shows the number of orders
assigned to each operator as a subfolder, with the associated
counts for each manufacturing stage.

Assigned Automatically - those orders and/or order segments that
have been assigned to packers by M.O.M. when the Automatically Assign New Jobs to Manufacturing
Operators option is selected. The detail under the main
folder shows the number of orders assigned to each packer as a
subfolder, with the associated counts for each manufacturing stage.
Note: The Automatic
Assignment option is only available when users are signed into the
Manufacturing Assembly Workstation.

The screen automatically refreshes every 60 seconds and new
orders and/or order segments are loaded as Unassigned. To refresh
the screen between automatic refreshes, select the REFRESH
button.

Optionally, to view the information on the screen graphically,
select the GRAPH button to display the Graphing Screen for
Reports.

Optionally, if you have multiple warehouses set up, use the
Process JOBs For
Warehouse pull-down menu to select to view the list for a
specific warehouse or all warehouses.

To manually create a new batch for any unassigned segments,
select Unassigned Segments in the list with your mouse and press
the NEW BATCH button. To view or edit a batch of assigned segments,
select an Assigned batch in the list with your mouse and press the
VIEW/EDIT button. In either case, the Batch
Assignment screen is displayed.
