Manufacturing Assembly Job Batch Assignment
General Information
This screen is used to assign batches in the Product Manufacturing Manager's
Station which is only available with for users of the Product Manufacturing Module that also own
the Advanced Warehouse
Module.
How to Use the Screen
Use the screen to accomplish any/all of the following tasks. Use
this screen to complete any of the following tasks.
Assigning Segments to a Batch

Optionally, enter a DESCRIPTION for the batch at the top of the
screen.

Optionally, use the VIEW JOB CODE drop down menu to filter the
lists of jobs by the manufacturing stage code.

Use the OPERATOR TO ASSIGN pull-down menu to select a specific
Manufacturing Operator.
Note: You can assign jobs to
Manufacturing Operators who are not currently using the Product Manufacturing Assembly
Workstation.

Select the segment to be assigned in the Unassigned Jobs column.

Use your mouse to drag and drop each segment from the
Unassigned Jobs column to
the Assigned Jobs column.
Or, use the ASSIGN button to assign the selected segment, the
ASSIGN ALL button to assign all jobs, or the ASSIGN NEXT X ENTRIES
button to assign a select number of entries as determined by the
NEXT X SEGMENTS TO ASSIGN selector field at the bottom of the
screen.
Unassigning Segments from a Batch
You might want to unassign a previously assigned segment or
group of segments to reassign it to another manufacturing
operator.

Select the job to be unassigned in the Assigned Jobs column.

Use your mouse to drag and drop each segment from the
Assigned Jobs column to the
Unassigned Jobs column. Or,
use the UNASSIGN button to unassign the selected job, or the
UNASSIGN ALL button to unassign all jobs.
Saving the Batch and Exiting Back to the Product Manufacturing Manager's
Station
To save the batch and exit, select the SAVE button to return to
the Product Manufacturing Manager's Station.
To exit without saving the batch or any changes, select the
CANCEL button.
