Graphing Screen for Reports
General Information
This screen enables you to take the report output and create one of
several different types of graph. The screen is divided into two
tabs.
How to Make a Graph

On
the Options tab, drag and drop (or use the INCLUDE and REMOVE
buttons) the data options from the Available column to the
Selected column.

Use the pull-down box entitled, DATA GROUPED BY (X-AXIS), to
determine how the data will be grouped.
For
instance, it can be grouped by Sales ID, Ship Date, Order Status,
Payment Method, State, etc.

Select the Graph tab to view the default graph.

To
change to a different type of graph, use the pull-down box
entitled, TYPE OF CHART, to make a new selection. Depending on
selections made in 1 and 2 above, some chart types may or may not
be available.

To
print the graph, select the PRINT button at the bottom of the
screen.
Additional Options Available Through MS Graph
You can further customize (colors, titles, data displays, etc. )
your graph using the features of MS Graph.

To
access the spreadsheet containing the data in the chart to make
changes or add additional data item, double click on the graph.

After the data sheet is displayed, to access the formatting options
for the background (grids, etc.) of the graph, double click on the
background.

After the data sheet is displayed, to access the formatting options
for the data areas of the graph, double click on any of the data
areas.

Optionally, you can right click on any object in the graph to
customize legends, x or y axis, etc.

To
return to the graph, single click on the Graph tab itself.
Note: To access Help for MS
Graph, press F1 while the data sheet or formatting options screen
is displayed.
