How to Use the Screen
ORDER NOTES - these are notes about the order for internal
purposes only. For instance, if the person who took the order put
it on hold for some reason, they might write up a brief explanation
so that the next person would understand what happened. These notes
never print and are only available for viewing in this screen.
INSTRUCTIONS TO APPEAR ON ALL BOX LABELS - this is a note that
will be printed on the shipping labels of all boxes in the order.
Typically, this is a delivery-related message to the carrier; for
example "If no one is home, leave on back porch." To write
instructions for just one box in an order, select the Order Entry -
Packaging tab and press the VIEW/EDIT BOX button to display the
Box Details
screen to write the special instructions for the box.
FULFILLMENT INSTRUCTIONS - this is a
note to the pickers and packers of the order in the warehouse. It
is only for internal use and is printed on the pick ticket for the
order. It can also be viewed from the Packer's
Workstation - Scan & Pack Screen.
