How to Use the Screen
Looking up an Object
The top line of fields, LOOKUP ON, CONDITION, and VALUE work
together to express the formula to be used for the lookup.
-
Use the LOOKUP ON pull-down menu to select the piece of information
about the object to be used as the lookup criteria.
-
Use the CONDITION pull-down menu to specify the way the lookup
matches are to be determined based on the VALUE. For instance,
equals, greater than, contains, etc.
-
Enter the VALUE to be used to determine a match and press ENTER.
The results of the search are displayed in the list.
-
Optionally, use the SORT BY pull-down menu to sort the list using a
specific piece of information.

Optionally, use the THIRD COLUMN pull-down menu to show a specific
piece of information in the third column of the list. Note: To restrict access to this
feature in order to prevent sensitive information such as product
unit cost, use the Change Product

options group

selected above are saved by user ID as the default for the next

CONDITION field set to greater than, another user may want it set
to contains. M.O.M. saves the lookup settings as the default for
