Information
This screen enables you to identify specific elements from any
customized Customer Demographics screens for inclusion or exclusion
in your list query.
How to
Use the Screen
The screen is designed to be used as a database query tool. To use
this screen effectively, you need to be familiar with Database Query Structure. Once you have
mastered the concepts of query structure, you can use this screen
to quickly add, modify, and delete query statements to define a
range or values to extract the precise set of customers based on
the fields that have been established in the Maintain Demographics Function of the
List Management Module.
Adding a New Query Statement

Select the FIELD NAME for the item.

Select the CONDITION.

Define the VALUE for the CONDITION.

Apply a starting and/or ending parentheses as required.
Appending or Inserting another Query Statement
To
add an additional statement to the end of an existing statement or
series of statements:

Select the statement in the Selected Criteria Listing that you want
to append.

Press the APPEND button.

Use the fields in the Add/Edit Selected Criteria area to append the
statement.
To
add an additional statement in between two existing statements.

Select the statement in the Selected Criteria Listing that you want
to append.

Press the APPEND button.

Use the fields in the Add/Edit Selected Criteria area to append the
statement.
Deleting a Query Statement

Select the statement in the Selected Criteria Listing that you want
to delete.

Press the DELETE button.
