Comparative Shipping InformationGeneral InformationA Pop-up screen in the Order Total tab of the Order Entry screen. This screen displays the actual rates and customer rates for the shipping method selected and one or two other "comparative" shipping methods. The shipping methods that M.O.M. uses for comparison are defined in Maintain Shipping Methods. Select a shipping method from the list. Field DefinitionsTOTAL WEIGHT - the total weight of the package(s) in the order. PACKAGE COUNT - the number of packages in the order. SHIP VIA - the shipping method code. ZONE - the carrier zone for the shipping method. CARRIER CHARGES - the actual shipping charges to you. COD COSTS - any additional COD costs (only when COD Payment Method is selected). CALCULATED CHARGES - the customer shipping charges based on the parameters established in Maintain Shipping Methods. COMMENTS - when a shipping method is not available, the explanation is displayed in this field. |
