Transaction Item Edit
General
Information
This
pop-up screen allows you to change, add or delete a line item on a
supplier invoice. It is displayed when the ADD or EDIT button is
selected on the A/P Transaction
Item Details (Supplier Invoice) screen.
How to
Use the Screen
Adding or
Editing an Item
When
adding an item, enter the fields. When editing, change them as
required.
STOCK ID
NUMBER - for a new item, enter or lookup the item using your stock
number for the item.
DESCRIPTION - the description for the item.
QUANTITY -
the amount purchased.
MULTIPLYING FACTOR - if the supplier's item represents multiple
units of your stock item (for instance, if you buy a case and sell
the individual units), enter the number of your units = to one of
the supplier's units.
UNIT COST
- the cost of the item when you purchase it in the QUANTITY entered
above.
DISCOUNT -
any discount you receive on top of the UNIT COST.
SUPPLIER
ID - the supplier's identification number for the item. When adding
an item to an invoice this field is not available.
Return
Item Options
VENDOR RMA NUMBER - the Returned Merchandise Authorization
number given to you by the supplier accepting the returned
item.
NOTATION - an optional field commonly used to detail the reason
for the return.
Return Code - A drop down menu that allows you to select one of
the return codes that were setup in the Return
Code tab of the Global Parameters.
Deleting
an Item
Press the
DELETE button.
