Third Party Billing Options

General Information

This pop-up screen contains the options available for billing the shipping charges on an order to a person/party other than the customer. This function is only available for UPS OnLine and FedEx SMS. For Freight Collect, select the check box and then select whether the collect charges are to be paid using a UPS account number of by credit card.

How to Use the Screen

Select either of the following options as required.

  • We pay all shipping charges (no 3rd Party Billing) - select this option, and your company pays the shipping.

  • Customer will pay all shipping charges - select this option, and the customer paying for the order will pay shipping charges using either a credit card or UPS shipping account number. For this option, select to Use customer's shipping account or Use a Credit Card belonging to the customer. In either case, make the entries required.
