Field Definitions
TYPE CODES - these three codes are free-form and can be used to
classify the customer. Any one or more of the three code positions
can be used alone or in combination. Lookup List is available on
this field. These fields can be entered "on-the-fly" or maintained
in the Maintain Customer Type Codes
function.
COMMENTS - a free-form memo about the customer. This field can also
be used to keep some special piece of information on the customer
that can only be seen from within the customer record.
SALES ID - the salesperson ID for the customer. Lookup List is
available on this field. All orders for this customer (as the
Billing Customer) will default to this Sales ID.
SiteLINK PASSWORD - For SiteLINK Users Only. The field contains the
password that the customer entered when registering on your
SiteLINK Store. Optionally, you can enter a password in this field
when manually entering a new customer record. This will allow the
customer to log on to your SiteLINK site and view the status of
both M.O.M. generated and SiteLINK generated orders.
ADDITIONAL PHONE FIELD - enter additional phone numbers
for
this customer's record. Select Add New from the drop down menu,
then select a phone number type and add the number and
extension.
E-MAIL - if the customer has an e-mail address, enter it here. This
address is used throughout M.O.M. to optionally send customer
notices and correspondence via e-mail. Note: If an e-mail address is entered,
the field name changes color to blue. You can e-mail the customer
directly from the screen by clicking on the blue field name to
connect to your browser.
Also, sending e-mail from the Customer
Information screen will create an e-mail template with
auto-signature if it is setup in your E-mail Client.
ADDITIONAL EMAIL FIELD - if the customer has additional
email addresses, enter them here.
Select
Add New from the drop down menu, then select a email account type
and add the email address.
Note: Email Addresses
will be verified upon entry. M.O.M. will require the address to
contain the "@" and "." in the correct areas.
BEST TIME TO CALL- enter the best time to call the customer, be
sure to enter the time in the customer's time zone then select
the
zone from the list. M.O.M. will display the equivalent time for the
time zone that your workstation is set for.
WEB - if the customer is a business with a web address, enter the
URL here. Note: If a URL is
entered, the field name changes color to blue. You can access the
URL directly from the screen by clicking on the blue field name to
connect to your browser.
VIEW CUSTOMER'S ACTIVITY INFORMATION - click this button to
view detailed information on the customer's activity.
STATUS - this field indicates whether the customer is an
or
type name in your M.O.M.
system.
EXPIRED - check this box to indicate that the customer is no longer
an active name in the customer database. Expired names can be
deleted from the customer database using the Database Purge Module.
FRAUDULENT - check this box to indicate that the customer has made
fraudulent transactions with your company. M.O.M. will prevent any
new orders from being created for this customer and will place any
open orders for this client on "Fraud Hold."

NOT MAIL - check this box to suppress the name from any mailing
list created with the List Management Module.

NOT E-MAIL - check this box to suppress the name for any broadcast
e-mail list created with the List Management Module.

NOT RENT - check this box to indicate that the name cannot be
rented in a list created with the List Management Module.

NOT CALL - check this box to suppress the name from any phone call
campaign list created with the List Management Module.
DO
NOT FAX - check this box to indicate to suppress the name from any
fax list created with the List Management Module.
LAST ORDER - the most recent order number for the customer in the
system.

OF ORDERS - the total number of orders made by the customer.

OF MAILINGS - the number of times a mailing label was created for
the customer. The mailing counter is updated for a customer when
labels are printed in the List Management Module.
RFM Rating - the recency/frequency/monetary value rating for the
customer. This rating is based on the RFM
Analysis Settings in the List Management Module.
ORIGINAL SOURCE - the first source key entered for the customer in
the system.
LAST SOURCE - the most recent source key entered for the customer
in the system.
ENTRY DATE - this is the first date of activity for the customer
and represents the date on which the customer was first added to
the customer file in M.O.M.
LAST ACTIVITY - the last date of activity for the customer in the
system.
