UPS WorldShip Interface

General Information

UPS WorldShip is a UPS-provided software system that prepares all of the necessary UPS paperwork for shipping packages. It also provides a means of tracking packages using the UPS issued tracking numbers.

Setting Up the Interface

  1. On the main M.O.M. screen pull-down menu, select

  1. Check UPS OnLine Office & Worldship in the SHIPPING INTERFACES section of the screen.

  2. Press the SETTINGS button to setup the interface. Click this link for instructions.

Using the Interface

Exporting the File to UPS WorldShip

For each run of Stage 10, Shipping, in the Batch Order Processing function, M.O.M. creates a batch file. This batch file contains information on each box in every order being processed with any/all methods of shipment. This file needs to be put on a diskette and loaded directly to your UPS WorldShip system for carrier paperwork printing and shipment. Click this link for additional instructions on exporting this file to UPS WorldShip.

Loading the Return File back to M.O.M.

After packages are "shipped" by UPS WorldShip, a return file with tracking numbers and shipment costs is created. This file needs to be put on a diskette and loaded back into M.O.M. using the IMPORT SHIPPING DATA FILE button in the Batch Order Processing function. Check the box for Import Shipping Data from UPS WorldShip and select CLOSE. Click this link for additional instructions on importing the UPS WorldShip file to M.O.M.
