Using the Interface
Exporting the File to Ascent
For each run of Stage 10,
Shipping, in the Batch Order Processing function, M.O.M.
creates a batch file named neopost.txt. This batch file contains
information on each box in every order being processed with any/all
methods of shipment. This file needs to be put on a diskette and
loaded directly to your Friendship system for carrier paperwork
printing and shipment. Refer to your Friendship documentation for
more information.
Loading the Return File back to M.O.M.
After packages are
"shipped" by Friendship, a return file with tracking numbers and
shipment costs is created called manifest.dat. This file needs to be put
on a diskette and loaded back to M.O.M. using the IMPORT SHIPPING
DATA FILE button in the Batch Order Processing function. Check the
box for Import Shipping Data from
Neopost and press CLOSE.
On the Batch Order
Processing screen, select PROCESS and a prompt asks you to identify
the path for the file.
