Shipping Method Maintenance - Zone TableGeneral InformationThis screen tab is only used when the Automatic Shipping Calculations Module is installed with your M.O.M. software. This screen tab lets you establish or maintain carrier zones for shipping methods. How to Use the Zone TableAutomatically Loading UPS Zones for Your ZIP CodeIf you are maintaining either a UPS or FedEx shipping method, you can automatically set up all of the zones for all shipping methods for that carrier at once. You must have your original M.O.M. Main System Installation CD-ROM to use this feature. Select the AUTO SETUP button, and enter your ZIP code when prompted. You must do this for at least one UPS shipping method and at least one FedEx method. If you move your company and need to change the ZIP Code at some point in the future, just run the AUTO SETUP feature again. Note: For multi-warehouse use with the Advanced Inventory Module, the AUTO SETUP sets up UPS and/or FedEx zones for all warehouse automatically. You do not have to select any particular warehouse and no zip code entry is required. Manually Adding a New ZonePress the NEW button to display the Zone Information pop-up screen. Enter the information in the fields as required and press CLOSE to return to the Zone Table. If you have the Advanced Warehouse Module and want to manually set up a zone table for a warehouse, use the Warehouse Code pull-down menu to select a warehouse and display the Zone Information screen for that warehouse. Manually Changing a ZoneSelect the zone to be edited in the table. Press the EDIT button to display the Zone Information pop-up screen. Change the information in the fields as required and press CLOSE to return to the Zone Table. Manually Removing a ZoneSelect the rate to be removed from the table. Press REMOVE. Field Definitions for the Zone Table Information Pop-up Screen COUNTRY- select the country for the zone. FROM ZIP - the low value zip code to establish the zip range for the zone. TO ZIP - the high value zip code to establish the zip range for the zone. Note: ZIP values above are the first three digits of the five digit ZIP code. ZONE - the carrier zone code that applies to the specified zip range. |
