Process A
Single Card
General
Information
This
screen can be used for either manual or online credit card
approvals and refunds. The manual process is usually accomplished
by means of a desktop keypad device. If the optional Interactive Credit
Card Authorization System is installed with your M.O.M. system,
it is not possible to process a card manually.
How to
Use the Screen for Manual Approval
There are
two actions that can be completed using this screen, approving a
card charge and processing a card credit. The ACTION display
message tells you what action needs to be completed.
Approving
a Card Charge

Use your
desktop keypad to enter the card number, merchant account,
expiration date, transaction amount, etc.

If the
card is approved, enter the APPROVAL CODE and press APPROVED.

If the
card number is invalid, press the CARD INVALID button to return to
the Process Credit Cards list. The customer's order is
automatically given a "Suspended, CC Insufficient Information"
status.

If the
card is denied approval, press the CARD DECLINED button to return
to the Process Credit Cards list. The customer's order is
automatically given a "Suspended, Credit Denied" status
message.
Processing a Card Credit

Use your
desktop keypad to enter the card number, merchant account,
transaction amount, etc.

Press the
CREDIT APPLIED button to inform M.O.M. that the credit was issued
and to update the order journal.
How to
Use the Screen for OnLine Approval with ICCAS
There are
two actions that can be completed using this screen, approving a
card charge and processing a card credit. The ACTION display
message tells you what action needs to be completed.
Approving
a Card Charge

Use your
desktop keypad to enter the card number, merchant account,
expiration date, transaction amount, etc. If the card types are
setup correctly as bank cards (Visa & Mastercard), American
Express or Discover, it will automatically select the correct card
type from the card number entered.

If the
card is approved, the approval code, address verification response
and card identification response will display. You can also point
to the response message and the tool tip help will display the
complete response and actions you need to take.

If the
card is denied approval, you can call your processor and get a
voice authorization. Select the RESUBMIT button and enter the
approval code received.
Processing a Card Credit

Use your
desktop keypad to enter the card number, merchant account,
transaction amount, etc.

Press the
APPROVE NOW button to process the refund online.
