List Management Module Main Menu

General Information

Nearly every task that you need to perform in the List Management Module is easily accessed from the Main Tool Bar and/or Action Bar Menu.

Action Bar Menu

Located at the very top of the screen, the Action Bar Menu contains the File, Edit, Output, Include, Exclude, Maintain, and Help pull-down menus. These pull-down menus provide access to every option and function in the List Management Module. The Include and Exclude pull-down menus enable you add corresponding include and exclude statements to your query based on either Order or Customer information.

Tool Bar Menu

Located directly under the Action Bar Menu, the Tool Bar Menu is the set of illustrated buttons providing access to the most-often used functions in the List Management Module.

The buttons are arranged in four groups plus the Exit and Help buttons.

Query Functions

New Query - clears the query creation screen to enable you to define a new query with Include and Exclude Statements

Open Query - opens and displays a previously saved query.

Save Current Query - saves the current active query.

Save Current Query As - saves the current active query under a new name. Use this to save a new query that has not previously been saved.

List Functions

Export List - enables you to prepare the list for export, defining the fields to be included in the list as well as the format of the data.

Nth Name - enables you to create a list to a specific size, either using a fractional selection (1 out of __ names) or by specifying an exact size for the list.

Increment Mailing Counter - adds "1" to the Number of Mailings field for each customer on the current list.

De-Duplicate the List - processes the list the through a parsing routine to eliminate duplicate customers and incomplete addresses.

Printing and Reporting Functions

Print Labels for Defined List - enables you to specify the sort options and label format to print the current list.

Print Notices for Defined List - enables you to select a Standard Customer Notice to mail/merge the current list and print notices.

Generate Gift-to Notices - this is a stand-alone function and does not use the current list. The function enables you to select a gift-to notice created with the Standard Customer Notices Module.

Listing of Saved LMM Queries - prints a report listing all of your saved queries and related lists in the List Management Module.

Graph List - enables the current list to be graphed showing customer count information.

Create Catalog Contact Entries for Defined List - allows creation of catalog

Demographic Maintenance Function

Maintain Customer Demographics - enables you to create and maintain the customer demographics screens used in the Main M.O.M. System.
