Inventory Transaction Report Selection Screen
General Information
The Inventory Transaction Report is used to report on changes to
inventory, including quantities, location and value for a given
period of time. Changes to inventory quantities occur due to sales
and adjustments. Changes to values occur due to sales, receiving,
and adjustments for shrinkage, breakage, etc. Changes to location
(bins/warehouses) occur due to deliveries and adjustments for the
transfer of inventory between locations.
How to Use the Screen
-
Use one of the date selection options at the top of the screen to
select orders by date, date range, month, etc.
Note: When using the
selection by A GIVEN TRANSACTION DATE, GIVEN TRANSACTION DATE RANGE
or GIVEN POSTED DATE RANGE, the Selection
Details pull-down list box enables you to select
automatic date options such as Today, Yesterday, This Week, This
Month, etc. This automatic date selection is based on the current
date of your system.
-
Use one or more of the Optional Criteria in the middle of the
screen to limit the report to orders with specific stock items,
product class, operator ID, transaction type and/or warehouse.
-
Optionally, check the box, INCLUDE ONLY TRANSACTIONS SINCE LAST
REQUEST, to include only previously unreported transactions. This
option enables you to run the report every day or every week and
"leave off" the information from the last time you ran it.
Hint:
If you have multiple warehouses
using the Advanced
Warehouse Module, you can select stock items by warehouse using
the Stock Item Criteria options.
If you
want to save your report query as created in this screen to be used
at a future point for the same report, select "Add New" in the
SAVED REPORTS pull-down menu on the left bottom of the screen.
Enter the name for the saved report in the pop-up screen
provided.
If you want to delete a saved report
query, select "Delete a Saved Report" in the SAVED REPORTS
pull-down menu on the left bottom of the screen. Select the name
for the saved report in the pop-up screen provided and press the
DELETE button.
To run a saved report in the future,
select the report in the SAVED REPORTS pull-down menu instead of
making any selections in the screen.
