Using the Interface
Exporting the File to DHLSwiftShip
For each run of Stage 10,
Shipping, in the Batch Order Processing function, M.O.M.
creates a batch file named
DHLSHIPmmdd.xxx,
where mm
= the
month, dd
= the
day of the month, and xxx = the order
processing cycle run for the day; e.g., 001 is the first run of
order processing that day, 002 is the second, etc.
This
batch file is created in the DHL folder found under \Momwin and
contains information on each box in every order being processed
with any/all DHL methods of shipment. This file needs to be put on
a diskette and loaded directly to your SwiftShip system for carrier
paperwork printing and shipment. Refer to your SwiftShip
documentation for more information.
Loading the Return File back to M.O.M.
After packages are
"shipped" by SwiftShip, a return file with tracking numbers and
shipment costs is created called DHLSHIPPEDmmddyy.xxx with there same
date format as indicated above. This file needs to be put on a
diskette and loaded back to M.O.M. using the IMPORT SHIPPING DATA
FILE button in the Batch Order Processing function. Check the
box for Import Shipping Data from
DHL and press CLOSE.
On the Batch Order
Processing screen, select PROCESS and a prompt asks you to identify
the path for the file.
